We recently held our engagement party — which also became our surprise wedding ceremony — at Pier Ninety Seven, and it truly could not have been more perfect. From the very beginning, Katelyn, the Function and Events Manager, was absolutely amazing. She guided us through every step of the planning process and made everything feel completely seamless, allowing us to enjoy the moment without stress.

On the night, the staff were exceptional. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful, ensuring our celebration ran smoothly from start to finish. The canapés were delicious and beautifully presented, adding an extra touch of elegance to the evening.

And of course, the venue itself is breathtaking. With panoramic views over the Newcastle Harbour, Pier Ninety Seven provided the most gorgeous backdrop to our special night. Celebrating our surprise wedding surrounded by our closest family and friends in such a stunning setting is something we’ll cherish forever.
